ref149aIn 1952 Belgrade placed its first order for five PCC cars to La Brugeoise company in Belgium. These cars were produced together with Brussels order. They were numbered 112-116 and remained in service until late 70s.

ref179In 1967 Tatra introduced a narrower version of popular
T3 model, called T4 with width 2.2 m instead of 2.5 m. Two demonstrators were sent in the same year to Belgrade, numbered 110 and 111. In 1968 both cars were returned to Tatra and in 1972 Belgrade placed an order for 20 serial T4 models. Car #111 was rebuilt as a trailer car prototype for East Germany, became Halle #101. Car #110 was rebuilt as Tour tram for Prague fleet (#5500). Between 1967 and 1987 2.635 T4s and 874 B4s were built; mainly for East Germany and also for Soviet Union, Romania and Yugoslavia.

ref179aBelgrade ordered 20 T4 PCCs from Tatra in 1972. They were numbered 1-20 and remained in service until middle 80s. The reputation of T4s was very high in Belgrade and in 1980-81 a new order was placed to Tatra for 60 KT4 articulated PCCs.
