1982 Kumamoto Nippon Sharyo 8200 Double-end Tramcar
The
tram network of Kumamoto city dated originally from 1904 represented the
typical Japanese system. Almost all cars of the existing fleet are double-end
vehicles, some of them are articulated. In 1982 two new cars of the 8200-series
were delivered to city by Nippon Sharyo company and in 1985-86 four more
8500-series cars of similar styling were delivered by Alna Koki company.
