1942 Bedford OWB Utility Bus (Tay Koh Yat, Singapore)
One of the principal
independent bus companies in Singapore, Tay Koh Yat, acquired a few ex-Royal
Air Force Bedford OWBs after the war. The company operated some 50 normal
control buses, both ex-military and purpose-built bus chassis. In 1954
Tay Koh Yat began to acquire a new buses from Commer, Albion and Fargo,
and by 1964 the company operates 13 routes with more than 100 buses.
