CCF-Brill C-36 (TTC Toronto 1100-1169 series)
Canadian
Car & Foundry Co.Ltd.(CC&F) started serial production of C-36
gasoline bus in 1945 under ACF-Brill license. This small bus was extremely
popular and between 1945 and 1954 949 Canadian C-36s were outshopped to
many operators. Toronto Transportation Commission received its first thirty
C-36 buses, numbered 1100-1129 in 1946, and 40 additional buses were added
to TTC fleet in 1947.
