USA1953 GM TDH-5104 (Surface Transportation Corp. 1090-1099 series).

Surface Transportation Corporation acquired ten GM TDH-5104 coaches in September 1953; they were delivered in the simplified version of the Surface red and cream livery. 25 more TDH-5106 coaches were bought in August 1956, they were numbered 1060-1089 and were last to wear the red and cream color scheme.

USA1959 GM TDH-5106 (Surface Transit Inc. 3020-3059 series).

Fifth Avenue Coach purchased Surface Transportation Corp. in December 1956 and set up a subsidary, Surface Transit Inc. In July 1959 30 new TDH-5106 coaches arrived, they were numbered 3020-3509 and were identical to Fifth Avenue coaches 2645-2694, delivered at the same time. These buses had push out exit doors and featured a protruding destination sign. The box was to house a florescent lighting fixture. They were delivered with "U"-shapped seating plan.
