GM TDH-5103 (St.Louis Public Service 3600-3674 series).
Early
in 1950 the St.Louis Public Service planned to order 100 more PCC cars
and spent $3.5 million for truck reconstuction, however this plan was
dropped in favour of 40 foot buses: 75 GM TDH-5103s and 25 Mack C-50 DTs.
The 5103s arrived in April-June 1951 and were numbered 3600-3674 series.
When new TDH-5105 model was announced, SLPS quickly placed the order for
100 of them and was the first Customer. These coaches arrived in May 1953
and three extra coaches were purchased in September 1953. The TDH-5105s
were numbered into 3697-3799 series. Many of the St.Louis GMs were air-conditioned
in 1959-63.
