GM TDH-5105 (New Orleans Public Service 1785-1966 series).
Starting
in 1954 New Orleans Pubic Service bought nothing but large diesel buses
from General Motors for the next three years. At total, 182 TDH-5105 coaches
were acquired and GM air-conditioned demonstrator was also acquired in
1958. Two standard coaches were air-conditioned in 1958 (Nos. 1964 and
1966). These buses were mainstay of the system for many years, operated
on all routes in all type of service.
